This is an auto-traverse for a pickup winder. It has three knobs, two to set the spread of the wire feed, turn the left knob to the left (counter-clockwise) to make the wire go to the left and turn the right knob to the right (clockwise) to get more spread to the right. The middle knob is turned clockwise to get more speed as it moves the rack back and forth. The gear is adjustable up and down to change the position of the gear rack and to set the position of the gear on the rack. Feed the wire through the wire hole on the wire guide and then through the felt pads (and tighten to preference) and then feed the wire through the nozzle. The Wire Guide can be moved left and right by adjusting the screws and sliding it on the track.
Everything can be adjusted with the 2.5mm hex wrench. This can now attach to my Pickup Winder! Some of the pictures should help you set it up but If you have any questions let me know!
